This is a picture of my Cruiser. It is a 1966 FJ-40 and she requires lots
of work. I have done all the work on it myself which I am not sure is
good or bad but she does run and wheels like a banshee although not quite like my willys. On that note I
would like to add that the soul purpose for this vehicle is to four wheel
and get me to some remote camping spots. Below I have listed some changes
and features of my cruiser.

Short History and
Description:
I recently purchased the cruiser from my friend in the summer of 1999. I had to sell my baby which was a 47 willys. The willys was tired and I can't go to many weekends without camping so the purchase of the cruiser was forced. The V-8 conversion was already completely and was bolted to the 4-speed drivetrain. It came with a Spectre soft top and bikini top. the gas tank and radiator were leaking like hell so I replaced those. I have since purchased an older ribbed style hard top that I am in the process of restoring. The Cruiser made it through the summer and won my heart. I grenaded the rear pinion gear recently and had Randy's offroad in Marysville build a new fine spline with a locker. I have just installed power steering ,w/ a nice grant steering wheel, which is pretty much heaven on earth. I also fabricated a roof rack an support device using some metal from Dave @ A.S.M. and a hand fabricated aluminum rack from Jarred Carroll. There will be more modifications and pictures from here on out because as my friends say it will never be finished.
